Storage overview
Four functions, clearly separated.
Cart in localStorage
The browser stores product variant identifiers and quantities so the cart can persist. It does not store a name, delivery address, or payment-card details.
After cart activity
Consent preference in localStorage
The browser remembers whether optional analytics and marketing were allowed or denied, so the question does not need to be repeated on every page.
After a choice
Meta Pixel and OpenPanel
The current storefront enables paired optional event tracking only when both providers are configured and the stored preference allows it.
Only with consent and configuration
Essential mechanisms
Core request handling, security, load management, and error diagnosis can require technical data. Blocking all site data or scripts in the browser can prevent the cart, navigation, or checkout handoff from working correctly.
Essential operation is separate from optional consent. Disabling optional tracking should not disable the basic storefront or local cart.
Optional analytics and marketing
When configured and allowed, Meta Pixel and OpenPanel can receive events about visited pages, viewed products, cart activity, and the start of checkout, along with technical identifiers processed by those services.
The storefront does not intend to include names, support messages, delivery addresses, or complete payment details in those event payloads. You can deny or later withdraw the optional preference here.
Hosted checkout and external services
The hosted Shopify checkout, payment providers, and any carrier tracking page are separate services. They can use technologies required for security, session continuity, payment, fraud prevention, or delivery under their own configuration and notices.
Changing the preference on this storefront does not automatically change choices already made on a separate provider's domain.
Browser settings
Browsers provide controls to inspect, block, or delete cookies and site data. Option names differ between browsers and devices, but are commonly found under privacy, website data, or cookie settings.
Deleting all site data can clear the cart and consent preference. It does not cancel an order already submitted through checkout.

The privacy notice explains the wider data flow and its missing controller disclosure. If you see an unexplained mechanism, email support@dorenvi.co with the page address and browser name. Do not include payment-card details.
